Wishing Well
03:46

One
Two
Three
Four
I've got a hole in my heart
And it hurts like hell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
Yeah the devil's ringing
The feral bell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
Why do you try
Why do you try
I'm a square pig
In your round hotel
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
You say you want me
But I really can't tell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
Why do I try
Why do I try
She's got reasons to be angry
And reasons to yell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
I must have hit my head
On the day that I fell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
I've got a hole in my heart
And it hurts like hell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
You say you want me
But I really can't tell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
I'm a square pig
In your round hotel
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
She's got reasons to be angry
And reasons to yell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
Yeah the devil is ringing
His feral bell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well
I must have hit my head
On the day I fell
Gotta
Throw some money in the wishing well

Summertime in Memphis
03:47
|
|||
Never needed to be on top
Just need to be right-side up
Not asking for much
Just enough
It's all got a way of tearing you down
When all the green has turned to brown
Never seen another summer
With so many leaves on the ground
And when it comes
It comes on the breeze
These things take me to my knees
And when she comes
She comes for me
These things I can't unsee
There's a way in
There's a way out
There's no roads from here
There's after
There's better
There's no way back home from here
Wrapped in sheep skin
Clawing
Drooling at my door
Don't know what it is you think you're here for
To the birds I leave the branches
To the climbers the avalanches
To the rest I turn my back
And when it comes
It comes on the breeze
These things take me to my knees
And when she comes
She comes for me
These things I can't unsee
There's a way in
There's a way out
There's no roads from here
There's after
There's better
There's no way back home from here
The rules that never applied
They've all changed me now
Made the mistake of thinking
I was living in the future
The rules that never applied
They've all changed again
Made the mistake of thinking
We were living in the future
